I can’t wait to go on my holidays to Egypt this year since I’ve heard so much about the souks. I’ve been there before, but only stayed at the resort and went to the pyramids one day, which was OK but not really up my street. I was a bit unsure of venturing out myself at that time because of all the riots, but this time I’m going to go all out and experience every part of Egyptian culture. I hear the old souks are the traditional shops and where most locals still buy their goods today. I am going to try some shisha too, which I hear is delicious.

I was taking a bike ride one day and I was in the bicycle lane. The driver of a car that had been drinking came over into my lane and hit me. I was in the hospital for a few days. When I first read about the places one can visit in Australia, I started looking for a cheap place where I can stay for a month. Throughout my trips abroad, I often planned out an itinerary where I can get the most out of a particular place rather than being so stressed all day walking through different landmarks just to see everything in one day. I’m looking for London hotels for a trip to the capital I’m planning in a few weeks. I’ve got a couple of weeks off work, as I finish my current job at the end of January and don’t start my new one until right at the end of February. I’m going to spend a week down in London, seeing various friends. Most of my friends who’ve moved there have ended up around the East End, mostly in the Shoreditch, Hoxton, and Whitechapel areas, so I’m thinking of staying at that big hotel on Old Street, which is nearby those areas and also has the handy benefit of being only a few minutes’ walk from a tube station.

I’m back at work now, sitting at my desk while I type on my computer. It’s going to be a long day as the work piled up while I was gone. It was hard to come back from beautiful san juan del sur nicaragua where I spent the last two weeks. I had a luxurious vacation there with two of my best friends. We spent many hours lying on the most gorgeous beaches around while watching some very good looking men go surfing. I wish I didn’t have to come back home.
