Lisbon is a fantastic destination for a city break. Despite the rich culture, warm weather and golden sandy beaches, the city is often overlooked for the more well-trodden cities of Paris, Rome or Barcelona. In the winter months, Lisbon isn’t overly crowded, so you’ll find very cheap flights and hotels on offer. Whilst in the city, you can wander around one of the modern museums – including the Bernardo museum of modern and contemporary art and the MeDe museum of fashion and design, for free.
