Flights to Maui

I am planning a trip to Hawaii next February and am now looking for some cheap flights to Maui. I know I can fly to Honolulu and then catch a connecting flight to Kahului from there on one of the local inter island carriers. What I didn’t know what that I could catch flights to Maui on Island Air that land directly at the Kapalua airport. If that is the case, I may not have to rent a car at Kahului airport and then drive out to my hotel in Kapalua. I can probably catch a cab or a shuttle at Kapalua Airport and save a lot of time and money.
