I spoke to a UK travel agents on Saturday evening regarding a holiday to Aquis Pelekas Beach Corfu that we saw advertised on Travelzoo. I was wondering about travelling to Hawaii one day in the future. I’ve never been there before. In fact, before I looked into this, I had no idea about even the airlines that flew into Hawaii. I do everything through the Internet now. So like I’ve always done before when I embark into something I know nothing about, I simply entered some key word search terms into Google, like: Hawaii airlines, airlines to Hawaii and airlines in Hawaii. So when I searched these terms, I found out that all of the major US carriers fly to Hawaii on a daily basis, including American Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines. I also found out that Northwest has merged into Delta and Continental has merged into United. Wow. Am I behind the times or what? I knew that Hawaiian Airlines was one of the carriers that flew in and out of Hawaii. Otherwise, why would they be called Hawaiian Airlines? LOL. But I didn’t know that both US Airways and Alaska Airlines also flew to Hawaii. The Internet never fails to amaze me.
I also found out that there were a lot of Hawaii airlines that offered service within the state of Hawaii. The Hawaii airlines include: Hawaiian Airlines (of course), Go! Mokulele (funny name for an airline), Island Air and Pacific Wings. So there are a lot of domestic carriers that offer Hawaii air service to and from Hawaii as well as within Hawaii. I guess you have to have a lot of airlines in Hawaii and airlines to Hawaii because that is the only practical way to get there as well as travel between the island when you are located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

We want to to go Hawaii for our next anniversary so we are now looking for some cheap Hawaii flights. We live in Fresno, California and am looking at the prices on Hawaii flights on the Internet. Our anniversary will be in June and we heard that Allegiant Air will be flying to Hawaii next summer from Fresno. So we are wondering if we should us them again; but this time to Hawaii. The last time we used them to Las Vegas, But we are wondering if they would only fly twice a week. If so, our trip may either be too short or too long.

Pamplona is a really nice city in Spain. Of course, most people think of running with the bulls in Pamplona when they think of it, but that is for good reason. The party that is the San Fermin festival has few equals, perhaps this side of Marti Gras. There are hundreds of thouands of people that pile into this city in Northern Spain for the week-long festival of bulls and apparently, of sangria. The level of partying, especially among the young people that are there, perhaps to run with the bulls, is pretty amazing. But don’t come for the party; come for everything else, including some great people that live there.

When I found out that I could qualify for a loan to get my Private Pilot License, I decided to go ahead and do it. After all, this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance. My family loves to take vacations at least three times a year. However, they do not like the time that is required to spend in the car. I cannot wait to tell my wife that I have decided to go ahead and do this. She is going to be so happy.
